Guests enter the Iluliaq Nature Centre. The first thing they see is a bronze statue of the Inuit Dog (official animal of the Canadian territory of Nunavut). As guests walk by the bordered statue, they are treated to various displays of Canadian Arctic wildlife and history. Such displays include snow and hunting equipment, taxidermy animals (moose, wolves, beavers, birds, etc.) with decor made to represent the animal's habitat (trees, rocks, fake snow, etc.), animal teeth and bones, and images or northern Inuit life.
As guests will make their way to the boarding area, they will be surrounded by snowy rocks with animatronic birds on them. Since boarding is inside, a starry night sky will act as the background for the wall and ceiling. Also, a faint glow of the Northern Lights will be present in the "sky."

Ride through:
Guests board at the edge of the lake, and they travel into the Ice Crystal Caverns. Similar to Living with the land there will be narration provided by an on board speaker.

As you travel through the caverns, projections of Inuit history will be on the ice walls, while narrations from the boat speakers will provide insight. You will travel through the cave encountering animatronic animals, with only the northern lights above as your guide.

When you exit the caves, you will travel along the Ojibwe River in the Permafrost forest. The serene river is filled with wildlife (animatronics), beaver dams, and trees.

For the final act, you will travel past the magnificent Precambrian Shield. The canoes will weave around glaciers, and will even travel between two large rock walls.
Exit:
As guests disembark, they will enter the Ojibway Trading Post, filled with specialty items for purchase including small wood carvings, totem polls, Arctic Voyage shirts, hats and pillows, fur hats, animal plushes, nature paintings by Canada's famous Group of Seven, Native crafts and Dreamcatchers.
