Mythos: Aurora Sky is our nighttime spectacular featuring the technology of 900 Intel "Shooting Star" drones. As demonstrated in the Starbright Holiday show at Disney Springs, drones have the potential to bring the sky alive for a memorable evening spent in Glacier Bay.
From the shores of Zinthorp, our Scandinavian village, visitors will be treated to an eight minute sound and light show highlighting constellations and their stories from Norse mythology. Against a field of stars (as seen on the banner above) the stars comprising each constellation can be highlighted, while a narrator reveals its legend and mythology.
Finally, the stars will morph into the aurora borealis in a not-to-be forgotten Disney memory. The show will normally be done twice nightly at times that do not conflict with Animal Kingdom's Rivers of Light show. In the winter months, anticipate shows at 7 and 8:30 p.m., while in the summer the first show will be at 9 p.m. with a second show at park closing, should the park remain open until 10 p.m. or later.
Below is a brief sampler of imagery using drones, narration and music.
